The Montecillos region is a mountain range surrounded by coffee producing zones. On both sides it has the Zona de Concepcion de Soluteca and Tepanguare area all the way to Veracruz. This zone is special because the coffee that comes from the area is protected and certified for Marcala certificate of origin coffee.
